I want to swim in a lake. Where can I go?
If you want to swim in the Fuji Five Lakes area, Lake Motosuko is a possible option. The water is very clear, and you can enjoy the natural surroundings.

・Swimming is prohibited in Lake Kawaguchiko, Lake Saiko, and Lake Shojiko.
・The water temperature at Lake Motosuko is low, around 20°C even in summer. Swimming for a long time may increase the risk of hypothermia.
・Designated swimming areas and safety management conditions may change depending on the year. Please check the latest local information before visiting.
・Swimming in areas without lifeguards or on days with bad weather is dangerous. Please be especially careful if you are visiting with children.
We strongly recommend wearing a life jacket. Life jackets may be available for rent by the lakeside.
