Are there any precautions I should take when visiting filming locations?
Yes. When taking photos or sightseeing, please do not enter private property, homes, shops, schools, shrines, temples, or other places without permission. If you stop on the road to take photos, please be careful not to block cars or pedestrians.
Please also keep the following in mind:
- Do not take photos or videos in areas where photography is prohibited.
- Do not take photos of residents or shop staff without permission.
- Do not speak loudly or stay in the same place for a long time.
- Take your trash with you.
- When it is crowded, wait your turn and take photos quickly.
- Check bus and train times in advance.
- Avoid visiting early in the morning or late at night.
The Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko area has many popular photo spots, but some are close to local roads and residential areas
