  1. Proceed in the direction (side road) that allows you to exit to the general road side.
    Since the flow of cars is fast around the bus stop, it is essential not to cross recklessly.
    Move to a position where there is a pedestrian crossing or pedestrian line before crossing.
  2. Head towards Fujiyoshida city (residential area side)
    From here, proceed towards the residential area and the city.
    It will feel as if you are descending to the city from along the expressway.
  3. Follow the signs for “Arakurayama Sengen Park (Chureito Pagoda)”, and as you approach the park entrance, the flow of tourists will increase.
  4. You have arrived when you see the park entrance.
  5. There are approximately 400 steps up to the Chureito Pagoda (Observation Deck). We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, as it requires an uphill walk from the entrance.

    During the cherry blossom season, many people walk in the same direction, so it is easy to follow the flow.
  2. Proceed straight along the city road (area with houses and shops)
    The section on the way is relatively easy to walk.
    However, cars also pass by, so be careful in places where the sidewalk is narrow.
  3. When you see the park entrance sign, go uphill (towards the mountain) from there.
    Slopes/stairs increase from near the entrance.
  4. Stairs to Chureito Pagoda (Observation Deck) (approx. 400 steps)
    When you climb all the stairs, you can take the classic shot of the five-storied pagoda and Mount Fuji.
